Two new movie reviews
It’s a long time between my thoughts on the flicks, but I found myself at a spare end a couple of times on holidays in Washington DC, so here goes.
The Hurt Locker
- If this movies doesn’t make stars out of the near unknowns who play most of the key roles, then there’s no justice. It is a great film about the war in Iraq, its affect on the soliders fighting it, and the locals. I think it’s one of the best films I’ve ever seen. And I’m not going to say to much about it, except, “Go and see it”. You won’t be disappointed.
Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince
- I think I’m suffering from not having read this book, or the last one. But it’s ok fun entertainment, and it’s good watching the characters grow up. But it’s not the Hurt Locker. I’m curious if there’s one more of these to come?
